TERMS & CONDITIONS
RESERVATION PROCEDURE, DEPOSIT, PAYMENT
AND CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY FOR INDIVIDULAS

The following terms and conditions or booking conditions form the basis of your contract with The Unique Traveller. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these terms and conditions and agree to them. These booking conditions only apply to holiday arrangements which you book with us and which we agree to make, provide or perform (as applicable) as part of our contract with you. All references in these booking conditions to holiday, booking, contract, package, tour or arrangements mean such holiday arrangements unless otherwise stated. In these booking conditions, you and your means all persons named on the booking (including anyone who is added or substituted at a later date) or any of them, as the context requires and lead name means the person who makes the booking. We, us and our means The Unique Traveller.

RESERVATIONS

Once we confirm your booking by email, we will send you an invoice with payment conditions you may pay by bank transfer in Euros or British Pounds and by credit card. Please note that payments made with credit card will carry a surcharge, 2% for all mayor credit cards, except for American Express which is 4%.

Rates quoted and published in our website are subject to change up until the time of confirmation of the booking. Reservations are subject to availability, departure and group size at the time of confirmation of the booking.

A binding contract is only entered into after we have received payment from you, in cleared funds, of either the required deposit or the full price (depending on when the booking is made relative to the intended departure date - less than 45 days before the tour begins, full payment required), and we have issued a written confirmation invoice via email or letter. By making the booking you accept that you have the authority to bind all members of your party to these terms and conditions of booking. It is essential that upon receipt of our confirmation invoice, you check the experience details we have made and confirm and/or inform us immediately of any errors. Where this is not done, and there is an unreasonable delay in notifying any apparent discrepancies in the confirmed arrangements, we will not be responsible for any charges that may arise as a result of alterations that have to be made to the experience booking.

DEPOSITS
As stated an e-mail request is required to reserve a place on a tour. We will confirm your reservation upon receipt of the reservation request. Deposit required is 30%. You can pay by means of a bank transfer or credit card. For reservations made less than 45 days before the tour begin date, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

PAYMENTS
Final payment is due 45 days prior to the program begin date. If the balance remains unpaid at that time, we will contact you. If the balance remains unpaid, we reserve the right to treat the reservation as cancelled and to retain the deposit.

PRICES
Tour prices are in Euros, all published and quoted prices are guaranteed for trips taken in 2016- 2017, receipt of tour deposit(s) guarantees the published and quoted price at the time of booking, unless unforeseen circumstances arise. Tour prices given are per person and based on double occupancy. A single supplement will apply for one person occupying a double room that will be notified and confirmed to you at the time of booking.

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES AND DELAYS CHARGES
All cancellations must be made in writing to The Unique Traveller Ltd and will become effective upon receipt. Please note that cancellations made less than 45 days before the tour begins will result in loss of deposit and final payment. If we receive and acknowledge your written cancellation notice more than 45 days before the tour begins, we will keep the deposit payment. If you find it necessary to cancel your trip, we may be able to transfer your payment to another tour, please inquire.

In the event that you need to change or amend your booking with us after your payment and confirmation have been proceed, we will do our best to assist you but cannot guarantee that this will be possible. You will be responsible for any charges (whether made by us or the suppliers of the various components or activities ) that result from such amendment. In addition to amendment and cancellation charges applied by us and/or the suppliers of the tour components, you will be responsible for any increased charges arising from changes to accommodation arrangements and/or room occupancy levels. We reserve the right to treat any amendment notified less than 8 weeks prior to the date of departure as a cancellation and in such circumstances, will apply cancellation charges as set out below.

If you or any member of your party is prevented from making the tour or any of the activities booked for you for reasons beyond your control, you/they we may be able to transfer your payment to another tour, subject to our prior approval. Such person will be bound by these terms and conditions of booking. Please inquire.

After the confirmation has been proceed we reserve the right to change the accommodation, restaurants, visits to wineries, museums or any other visit to private or public properties to another of similar standards and services in the event any/all become unavailable for unforeseen reasons.

We will not be held responsible for any charges arising after the change or cancellation due to an unusual or unforeseeable event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeur). Such events include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil disturbance, strike, terrorist activity (actual or threatened), industrial disputes, technical or maintenance problems with transport, machinery or equipment, power failure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, drought, adverse weather conditions, levels of water in rivers, acts of god, closure of airports, changes of schedules or operational decisions of transport providers.

Cancellation or curtailment of a major event or sporting fixture is an unusual occurrence and we accept no responsibility to refund or compensate where changes to an event are made for reasons beyond our control. Every effort will be made to offer alternative arrangements and in the unlikely event of cancellation any refund obtained will be passed on to you.

We cannot accept responsibility for the charges arising after the delay of airplanes, trains or any other type of transportation you use to arrive at the agreed airport or station where your tour/holiday with us starts. We do not provide for meals, overnight accommodation, extra transfer or any other costs resulting from such delays.

The purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended as it may cover trip changes, cancellation, interruption, or delay for medical reasons, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you or any member of your party before, during or after your tour/holiday with us as a consequence of inappropriate or insufficient travel insurance being purchased.

REFUNDS
No refunds are issued in the event that the participant fails to participate in any part(s) of the program. There will be no refunds in the event you arrive for the program late or leave early.

INFORMATION
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and not misleading, it is published many months before your experience takes place and may be subject to change. We reserve the right to make changes to the website and any information it contains at any time and we make no commitment to keep the Information up-to-date nor any representation or warranty as to the currency, accuracy or completeness of the Information. Where material changes are made to website content after your tour has been booked, every effort will be made to inform of such changes prior to travel.

Passports and Visas
This is very important for everyone, because all nationalities require a full Passport that must be valid for 6 months beyond the intended length of stay. It is your responsibility to get the correct personal documents and your own visa (if it is required), in accordance with the regulations of the country you are going to visit .We are not responsible for the actions of local immigration and customs officials, whether at points of entry or otherwise and any subsequent effects.

ONCE YOU ARE TRAVELLING
Please note that problems that may arise while on tour should be addressed promptly with the tour manager or guide, or by contacting The Unique Traveller Ltd on 00442072896878 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. Failure to address such problems while participating in the tour will mean that The Unique Traveller will be unable to offer any adjustment that otherwise might be available.
